Dr. Zhiming Wang

Dr. Wang is the Director of Quality Control. Dr. Wang joined uBrigGene Biosciences in 2021 and is responsible for the management and operations of company’s quality control system. Dr. Zhiming Wang has more than a decade of experience in oncology research and cell and gene therapy. Dr. Wang helped with establishment of multiple GMP laboratories, and the operations and management of production platforms. Previously, as the Director of GMP Cell and Gene Preparation Center, he led his team in the large-scale preparation of multiple batches of GMP-grade viral vectors. He brings with him a breadth and depth of experience and understanding in GMP adenovirus, AAV, lentivirus, CAR-T preparation, methodology development, and quality control. Dr. Wang obtaining his PhD at The Medical College of Georgia and completed his postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Florida. After returning to China, he served as a Distinguished Professor at Zhengzhou University. An accomplished scientist and executive, he holds numerous positions such as Director of National Cell and Gene Therapy International Research Center of Academy of Medical Sciences at Zhengzhou University and member of the Tumor Genetics Committee of Henan Anti-cancer Association and the Asia Pacific Gene & Cell Therapy Association.
