About the Role
Duties and responsibilities:
Manage projects in a cross-function team. Serve as interface between BriGene Biosciences Inc. and clients in Cell and Gene Therapy (CGT) CMC development program.
Develop and manage project as per scope, timeline, budget, quality, communication, risk, procurement, stakeholders and in accordance with the employer’s and client’s mission and goals.
Coordinate internal and external resources, and support or manage related team to achieve technical excellence (technical innovation and alignment) and operation excellence (operational efficiency improvement and new workflow/platform setup).
Organize and lead internal and external meetings to keep the project on track. Keep both BriGene team and the clients updated in a timely manner on the project progress and decision points through teleconferences, e-mails, site visits or other suitable means.
Monitor timeline and contract for accuracy and follow up on any discrepancies with clients and internal personnel. Confirm the completion of work by stage with client and ensures invoices are sent to client for processing.
Coordinate, draft and provide technical proposal to related business development team and business travel if necessarily.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Advanced degree (PhD or MS) in chemistry/biology, engineering or related major with 3-5 years of applicable work experience. Exceptional candidates with related Bachelor’s degree and related working experience will also be considered.
Training program available (technical and operation) for junior candidates to expedite the transition from academia to biologics industry.
Leadership skills in managing domestic and international teams with distinct cultures and technical backgrounds in an agile environment.
Excellent communication skills with problem solving capabilities is a must. Capability of working in a highly diverse team with multicultural and technical background is required.
Competency in Microsoft applications, including but not limited to Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Project, Outlook, etc.
Experience in project/program/portfolio management in any industry. Knowledge of science project management is preferred. PMP certificate can be a plus.
Enthusiasm in either CGT technical project management or non-technical project management.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Mandarin will be a strong plus but not mandatory.
