Gene Editing Nuclease
CRISPR/Cas9 technology is the third-generation gene editing technology following ZFN and TALEN, offering features in low cost, high efficiency and simple operation. The engineered Cas/sgRNA system uses sgRNA (short guide RNA) to guide Cas9 protein in identification and cleavage of double stranded DNA with sgRNA target sequence. This system is used for gene knockout, precise editing of DNA etc.
